While the executive producer tends to be more of an overseer of operations in the record making process, the word ‘producer’ commonly lends itself to a new age of music producer: ‘the bedroom producer’. Bedroom producers tend to fill the role of the music writer/ co-writer/ composer in the music production process, using little more than a computer and some form of audio production software to compose music. I began my journey into audio as a bedroom producer and I still practice the skill a daily basis.
